Question 1

Why is my Graco swing light blinking?

Accepted Answer

Usually because the swing isn't getting enough power or the motor is blocked. Fit fresh batteries or do a 10-second unplug reset, then check for anything stopping the seat. On some models a blinking light simply means the timer is set.

Question 2

Which Graco swing was recalled?

Accepted Answer

Graco has recalled swings more than once. CPSC records include a 2000 recall of infant swings, fixed with a free replacement safety restraint, and a 2004 recall of Travel Lite swings because the carry handle could drop onto a child. In 2020, Graco also recalled its Little Lounger rocking seats over suffocation risk. Search your model on CPSC.gov to check for newer recalls.

Question 3

Why does my Graco swing stop after a few minutes?

Accepted Answer

If you set the timer, the swing switches off by itself when the time ends. If no timer was set, low batteries or a loose adapter are the most likely causes.

Question 4

Can my baby sleep in a Graco swing?

Accepted Answer

No. The AAP says swings and other sitting devices aren't safe for sleep. Move your baby to a crib or bassinet if they fall asleep.
