Question 1

How long is Gerber baby food good for after opened if it was left out?

Accepted Answer

Opened baby food shouldn't sit at room temperature for more than an hour or two. After that, throw it away rather than refrigerating it.

Question 2

Is it safe to feed my baby straight from the jar?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if your baby will finish it in that sitting. Throw away anything left over afterward, since saliva on the spoon lets bacteria grow in the rest of the jar.

Question 3

Can I warm Gerber baby food and save the rest?

Accepted Answer

Warm only what your baby will eat. Throw out any warmed food your baby doesn't finish rather than putting it back in the fridge.
